I received this photograph from David Blanchard, his mother, Irene Blanchard(nee Hutchinson) is the girl(born 1912) in the white blouse directly behind the boy with the board. She worked as a postwoman in the 1950's in Wheatley Hill, his father, John Blanchard came to Wheatley Hill in the 1930's and  worked as a butcher in the Co-op in the 1950's.  Girl with the checked dress second from right in second row from front is Edith Bradshaw. ( From Bernadine Smith, Edith's daughter)
