Allan Fulcher received the following photograph from his cousin Barry. It was taken at a Musical Festival at one of the schools in Peterlee back in 1961. The event was organized by Mr. Jones one of the teachers at Wheatley Hill Senior Boys School. Barry informs us that none of the schools in Wheatley Hill were large enough to house all of the school children and invited audience, so the event was held at a Peterlee school. Children from W/Hill Boys Modern school and the Girls Modern school attended the event and were joined by school children from Peterlee.

The invited audience were mothers & fathers of some of the children.
