I received this photograph from Tom Armstrong who used to live at 22 East View, Wheatley Hill and was a blacksmith at Thornley Colliery and currently lives in Sunderland.

This photograph from Tom shows John Worthington and Tom thinks the other lad is called Martin. The girl is from Ludworth. It was taken outside Baldaseras on a Sunday afternoon about 1956.
