Dave Facey sent me the following photographs. They were taken around 1960/61 and show the railway cottages at the end of the road at Thornley Crossings. The other is of the bridge that you would have walked across to get to the Thornley Railway Station. You can see the chimney sticking up on the station. The photographs show Dave's mother Rita Facey in her first car (Ford Consul) and Dave's older brother is shown in the back seat.
