I received the following photograph from George Bannister.

This one is of the Wheatley Hill Blind School class and it was held in a small room at the welfare and run by a lady called Miss Kellet they did basket weaving and taught sign language.,  my grandma used to help her . The small boy on the right of the photo is me aged about 7 and the lady you can just see is my grandma Carrie Bannister, Miss Kellet is in the centre. This photo was probably taken about 1955-56.
