I received this photographs from Tom Armstrong who used to live at 22 East View, Wheatley Hill and was a blacksmith at Thornley Colliery and currently lives in Sunderland. The photograph shows Billy Middleton (Milly) in the foreground on a 600 Norton at Scarborough in 1959 adn Norman Robinson (Nobla) is in the background on a 350 Norton.
