This photograph is from Robert Frampton which shows his Grandmother Bella Richardson (Hazel Frampton's mother) with member of the Coronation Committee in 1952, she is the lady with the polka dot dress. I recognized some of the faces but sent it to Greg Wharrier in Thornley who is shown in the front in short trousers!! Greg has given me some names, Right to Left :- Joe Johnson, Teddy Caine, ?, Hannah Lowther, Mannie Shinwell MP, Mrs Harper, Bella Storey, (behind) Jack Hedley, the young lad behind is Jack's son Kenny Hedley, Jacky Moore, Anty Wharrier, Gladys Wharrier, Ralph Watson. The young girl at the front next to Greg could be from the Tunstall family. It looks like it was taken outside one of the Aged Miners Homes. I'll have to create a stencil to identify each of the individuals at a later date.
