Allan Fulcher sent me some photographs including a couple from his cousin Barry who still lives in Wheatley Hill.

The photo was taken in 1959 at the Wheatley Hill Sports Field Carnival. Barry is far right and came second in the fancy dress and received 15 shillings prize money. He had hundreds of spent matches stuck to his body and held a sign that said 'No More Strikes'.
