Photo of the Month

I received this photograph from David Blanchard and shows the Wheatley Hill Infants School 1927. David says that his dad's sisters (Lilly Blanchard) husband Norman Smith is on the front row furthest left. According to David he thinks that he lived in Thornley most of the time, served in the RAF during the war before moving to Leicester.
