I received these photographs from Tom Armstrong who used to live at 22 East View, Wheatley Hill and was a blacksmith at Thornley Colliery and currently lives in Sunderland.

The first photograph from Tom shows Ann Walker with her cousin Valerie Godden (think that is the name). Val lived in Dalton Terrace with her sister Shirley. Ann lived in Dalton Terrace also. Ann married a lad called Ray Simons and according to Tom they are currently living in Peterlee. When they were married they moved to Wingate and then went to Nottingham before ending up in Peterlee. The photgraph was taken at Crimdon Caravan Site 1959.

Tom said that Valerie married Teddy Warnes and they both went to South Africa as Ted was in the mining industry. Tom said that they came back but no information on where they are now.
