I received the following photographs from Mike (Hughie) Gibson who presently lives in Canada. This one shows Mike's Uncle Herbert in Naval uniform during WW2. Not sure where he is located in the photo but it must be hot with the cacti near by.

Update from George Bannister.......George thinks that the photograph was taken in Malta as the church in the background looks similar to the churches on the island with twin spires.

This one from Hughie shows Elizabeth and Norman Waugh at Quilstyle Roadwhile on a visit to Wheatley Hill some time ago.

This one was taken by Hughie of a family around the corner from Norman and Elizabeth. Hughie was so impressed by the front garden he had to take a photo of it. Not sure of the names of the folks in the photo but the lady in the middle looks like Mrs. Wigham who used to live in Peterlee Cottages. Had a son Thomas probably born about 1944. Any feedback on the names most welcome.

Update from Barry Fulcher......the man in the photo is Barney Durkin, Barry says that Barney used to live in Quetlaw Road
