This photograph was taken at the 80th birthday of William Dunnett in about 1951 at his bungalow in Barnard Avenue Ludworth. It was a very small bungalow and the occasion was as is evident from the photograph, very crowded.

Joe and Esther were my parents and Kathleen is my sister.

At the time of the party Les and Lucy may not yet have been married but certainly were at some stage and went to live in Peterlee.

Janet was the wife of Jack Dunnett, who came from Thornley but I'm not sure if they were married at that time. If not they certainly did marry and lived in Alexandra Terrace, Wheatley Hill in the early years of their marriage.

The younger Bill Dunnett in this photograph was the husband of Ina. They lived in Burnhope near Lanchester.
