This photograph from Jack shows a group of people with the colliery managers residence in the background. Tanky Walker is used to have the Station Hotel Pub in Thornley is shown in the back row with the grey coat on. Dr Todd is in the back row second from left. Bessie Bosomworth (nee Thornton my grandfather's sister) was a labour councillor and is shown in the front row in the middle. Not sure of the purpose of the group.
