The Heritage Centre in Wheatley Hill is a great place to visit to obtain a flavour of the village and its life and times. It is open on Tuesdays and Thursday between 10-00am and 12 Noon and also 2-00pm until 4-00pm. It is staffed with volunteers to help show anyone around and it's opening times are only limited by the number of volunteer's able to help. There is also a guest book which visitors can sign and is dedicated to Winston Worthington who lived in the village all his life and passed away last year.

Brian Dobbin (his mother is a volunteer) was kind enough to send me the following photographs of the Heritage Centre so that people could have a taste of the great work which has been done by all the volunteers.

Keith Hutchinson sent me a photograph of the outside of the Heritage Centre....really nice shot.
